Write a Three-Email Follow-Up Sequence
Added 2026-11-02
Each email does one job: add information, give a case, close politely.
I am writing three follow-ups to prospects who have not replied (context below). Do: 1) the first adds one piece of information they may have missed; 2) the second gives a similar customer's case in one result line; 3) the third closes politely, saying clearly that I will stop following up and they can reach out when needed; 4) each under 100 words with one call to action; 5) the interval between them; 6) an opening line that does not read as chasing. Do not start with "just following up".

How to use
跟进序列的终点是「体面停止」,不是无限追。
Try tweaking it
- Write one selling point for three readers: beginner, expert, decision maker.
- Replace "compelling" with a structure: pain, proof, action.
What you should get
- Several versions by channel or reader
- The claim and proof behind each version
Common mistakes
- Asking for "more compelling copy" and getting adjectives instead of facts.
- Letting it invent user counts or reviews — a risk the moment you publish.
How to check the output
- Claims are specific and checkable, without empty adjectives.
- No invented sales, user counts or reviews.
Where it works
- Good for: writing one selling point in several channel voices, then comparing which is most specific.
- Watch out: never let it fabricate sales, user counts or reviews — leave unknown numbers blank.
