Write Partnership OKRs
Added 2026-11-04
Goals both sides can verify beat "strengthen the partnership".
We are setting quarterly goals with a partner (context below). Write two or three OKRs: 1) each objective states the value to both sides in one line; 2) key results must be verifiable by both — who, which data, by when; 3) point out the KR most likely to fail if one side under-invests; 4) propose a joint review rhythm; 5) say how to fix a goal that sounds good but cannot be verified. Avoid goals like "improve synergy".

How to use
合作目标的检验标准:双方都能独立验证。
Try tweaking it
- Have it state how the hypothesis could be falsified before discussing execution.
- Split the plan into a one-week testable experiment.
What you should get
- A small testable experiment with a failure threshold
- Costs, risks, and what needs outside confirmation
Common mistakes
- Asking for a "full business plan" and getting unverifiable optimistic assumptions.
- No failure threshold, so you never know whether to continue.
How to check the output
- There is a clear failure threshold, testable within a week.
- Costs, assumptions and risks are listed separately.
Where it works
- Good for: turning business assumptions into a small testable experiment with a failure threshold first.
- Watch out: for pricing, contracts and legal points, treat output as a draft needing professional review.
