Write a Launch Announcement Without Hype
Added 2026-11-01
Say what problem it solves, who it is for and how to start; delete "revolutionary".
We are launching a new feature or product. Write the announcement: 1) first sentence names the specific annoyance it removes; 2) three bullets on the boundaries — what it does, what it does not, and the limits; 3) a getting-started path of three steps or fewer; 4) the price or what is free; 5) one clear next-step link label; 6) delete every "disruptive", "revolutionary" and "redefines". Under 250 words.

How to use
发布公告的信任来自「不能做什么」写清楚了。
Try tweaking it
- Write one selling point for three readers: beginner, expert, decision maker.
- Replace "compelling" with a structure: pain, proof, action.
What you should get
- Several versions by channel or reader
- The claim and proof behind each version
Common mistakes
- Asking for "more compelling copy" and getting adjectives instead of facts.
- Letting it invent user counts or reviews — a risk the moment you publish.
How to check the output
- Claims are specific and checkable, without empty adjectives.
- No invented sales, user counts or reviews.
Where it works
- Good for: writing one selling point in several channel voices, then comparing which is most specific.
- Watch out: never let it fabricate sales, user counts or reviews — leave unknown numbers blank.
