Turn a Customer Quote into a Headline
Added 2026-11-01
Do not smooth it into ad copy; keep the specifics and the emotion.
I have a customer quote (below). Do: 1) find the most convincing specifics — numbers, time, before/after; 2) give three headline options: one using their words, one stating the result, one built on contrast; 3) point out where too much polish would kill credibility; 4) mark what needs the customer's sign-off; 5) say where on the page this quote belongs. Do not turn it into "rave reviews".

How to use
客户原话的力量在细节,润色会把它磨平。
Try tweaking it
- Write one selling point for three readers: beginner, expert, decision maker.
- Replace "compelling" with a structure: pain, proof, action.
What you should get
- Several versions by channel or reader
- The claim and proof behind each version
Common mistakes
- Asking for "more compelling copy" and getting adjectives instead of facts.
- Letting it invent user counts or reviews — a risk the moment you publish.
How to check the output
- Claims are specific and checkable, without empty adjectives.
- No invented sales, user counts or reviews.
Where it works
- Good for: writing one selling point in several channel voices, then comparing which is most specific.
- Watch out: never let it fabricate sales, user counts or reviews — leave unknown numbers blank.
