Diagnose a Failed Exam into Fixable Gaps
Added 2026-10-30
Give wrong answers and your reasoning; have the model separate knowledge gaps from misreading and time management.
I did badly on an exam. I will give the questions I got wrong, my answers and roughly what I was thinking. Do: 1) sort the errors into four buckets — knowledge gaps, misreading, calculation or expression slips, running out of time; 2) one piece of evidence per bucket from my reasoning; 3) for the largest bucket, three concrete drills for the next two weeks; 4) point out where I likely overestimated my mastery. No comfort, just analysis.

How to use
把「没考好」拆成可改的动作,才有下一次。
Try tweaking it
- Ask for one diagnostic question first to locate where you are stuck.
- Replace "explain it" with "give three progressive exercises; correct me after I answer".
What you should get
- A diagnosis of exactly where you are stuck
- A small set of self-checkable exercises
Common mistakes
- Asking it to explain from scratch, and still not knowing where you went wrong.
- Memorising the explanation as the answer, then failing on any variant.
How to check the output
- It names exactly where you are stuck instead of re-explaining everything.
- Exercises are graded and self-checkable.
Where it works
- Good for: diagnosing where you are stuck, then giving the smallest exercise instead of a lecture.
- Watch out: ask it to flag uncertainty rather than memorising a confident but wrong explanation.
