Decide What Skill to Learn Next
Added 2026-10-31
Filter by usefulness, learnability and access to help, not hype.
I want to learn a new skill but have too many options. I will give candidates and my situation. Do: 1) score each 1-5 on whether I will use it within six months, whether my current base makes it learnable, and whether I have anyone to give feedback; 2) say which low score should disqualify it; 3) design a two-week minimal experiment; 4) explain how to decide continue or quit; 5) flag if I am chasing hype rather than need.

How to use
学什么,看「用得上」而不是「听起来厉害」。
Try tweaking it
- Rewrite each experience as action + result + verifiable number.
- Have it gather the job requirements first, then rewrite against them.
What you should get
- Rewritten bullets: action, result, number
- Likely follow-up questions and how to answer
Common mistakes
- Asking it to "optimise the CV", and every line starts sounding like a template.
- Adding projects you never did — it falls apart in the first interview.
How to check the output
- Each line is action + result + number, and you can defend the details.
- Nothing you did not actually do has been added.
Where it works
- Good for: rewriting experience as action + result + verifiable metric for CVs and interviews.
- Watch out: metrics must be real; AI can phrase them, not invent them.
