Build a Spaced Review Schedule
Added 2026-11-01
Schedule reviews along a forgetting curve instead of rereading everything from scratch.
I will list what I studied this week. Do: 1) split it into three groups by importance and give each a review interval, such as same day, day two, day seven, day thirty; 2) keep every review to ten minutes and say exactly what to do — recall, solve, explain; 3) mark what only needs recognition rather than recall; 4) design a 30-second log so review does not turn into note copying; 5) warn me where review most often degenerates into rereading.

How to use
复习的关键是「回忆」,不是再看一遍。
Try tweaking it
- Ask for one diagnostic question first to locate where you are stuck.
- Replace "explain it" with "give three progressive exercises; correct me after I answer".
What you should get
- A diagnosis of exactly where you are stuck
- A small set of self-checkable exercises
Common mistakes
- Asking it to explain from scratch, and still not knowing where you went wrong.
- Memorising the explanation as the answer, then failing on any variant.
How to check the output
- It names exactly where you are stuck instead of re-explaining everything.
- Exercises are graded and self-checkable.
Where it works
- Good for: diagnosing where you are stuck, then giving the smallest exercise instead of a lecture.
- Watch out: ask it to flag uncertainty rather than memorising a confident but wrong explanation.
