Number Lines
When a requirements list, code snippet, or set of survey options has to be discussed line by line, numbering each line lets people say “line 7” instead of counting together in a review call.
How to use
- Paste the text into the box, keeping its line breaks.
- Each non-empty line gets a 「number. 」 prefix; blank lines get none.
- Press Copy result and share it, then refer to line numbers in the discussion.
FAQ
Why does the numbering skip a number when there's a blank line?
Blank lines don't receive a number but still consume a position, so numbering restarts at 2 after the first gap. Remove the blank lines first if you need consecutive numbers.
Are the numbers zero-padded?
No. They count up from 1, so you get two digits past line 9 and three past line 99. View the result in a monospace font if you want the numbers to line up visually.
