Batch supported · Parsed locallyPDF measures length internally in points (1 pt = 1/72 inch). Both pt and millimeters are shown here, so you can tell whether the paper is A4 or something else.
When to use it
- Someone sent you a PDF and you want to know the page count, whether it's A4 and whether any landscape pages slipped in
- Before printing or merging, when you need to confirm all pages share the same size
When not to
- You just want to read it — a PDF reader opens faster
- You need to change page size, extract images or list fonts — this tool is read-only
Everything runs locally in your browser; the file is never uploaded or stored. Read-only: no editing, no text extraction, no font analysis; encrypted PDFs can't be parsed; very long documents use more memory.
Frequently asked
Can I see the size of every page?
Yes. Sizes are grouped and counted, e.g. “595×842 pt × 12 pages; 842×595 pt × 2 pages”, so landscape pages stand out immediately. Rotation is counted separately.
Why does it say the paper is custom?
Paper is matched against standard sizes (A4 595×842 pt, A5 420×595 pt, Letter 612×792 pt, A3 842×1191 pt); anything off by more than 2 pt is labelled custom. Scans and design files are often custom.
Does it work on encrypted PDFs?
No. A PDF with an open password cannot be parsed and will error out. Remove the password in the original app first.
