CSV to Markdown Table
Convert comma- or tab-separated data into a Markdown table. Useful for pasting spreadsheet content into a README, documentation, or blog post without drawing separator rows by hand.
How to use
- The first row is treated as the header, and the remaining rows become table rows.
- If a cell contains commas, switch to tab separation to avoid shifting the columns.
FAQ
What if the rows have different column counts?
The generated table may contain gaps or misaligned columns. Before converting, fill in the missing cells in your spreadsheet or fix the separators, then generate again and check the preview.
Are line breaks inside cells supported?
A line break inside a cell breaks the row-based parsing and can misalign the table. Merge the cell content into one line first, or replace the break with a space before converting for a more reliable result.
