CSV to JSON

Turn comma-separated rows into an array of JSON objects, using the first row as field names. Fields wrapped in double quotes can contain commas, and doubled quotes become one quote. Every value stays a string; numbers, booleans, and null are not inferred. Good for moving a small config table into code or an API.

How to use
  • Paste CSV with the header row first.
  • Rows are split on commas, and quoted fields are restored correctly.
  • Copy the resulting array of objects into code or a request body.

FAQ

Why are the numbers strings?

The tool does not infer types, which keeps IDs, phone numbers, and leading zeros intact. Convert the values in your code if you need numbers.

Does it support semicolons or tabs?

No, it splits on commas only. Export the sheet as comma-separated CSV first.

What about line breaks inside a field?

Rows are split by line, so a line break inside a field breaks the parse. Remove it or use another tool.
