Turn a Successful Delivery into a Case Study
Added 2026-10-30
Use problem, approach, result, customer quote — avoid self-congratulatory cases.
We delivered a project for a client and I want a case study. I will give the client context, the original problem, what we did, result numbers, and things the client said. Write 600 words: 1) open with the client's problem, not our product; 2) three key moves, each explaining why; 3) only verifiable result numbers with time ranges; 4) quote the client verbatim if available, never invent quotes; 5) end with who this approach fits and who it does not — not "contact us".

How to use
案例的说服力来自「为什么这么做」,不是结果数字。
Try tweaking it
- Have it state how the hypothesis could be falsified before discussing execution.
- Split the plan into a one-week testable experiment.
What you should get
- A small testable experiment with a failure threshold
- Costs, risks, and what needs outside confirmation
Common mistakes
- Asking for a "full business plan" and getting unverifiable optimistic assumptions.
- No failure threshold, so you never know whether to continue.
How to check the output
- There is a clear failure threshold, testable within a week.
- Costs, assumptions and risks are listed separately.
Where it works
- Good for: turning business assumptions into a small testable experiment with a failure threshold first.
- Watch out: for pricing, contracts and legal points, treat output as a draft needing professional review.
